House Portraits
A House Portrait is an illustrative oil painting of your home and its surrounding yard or garden. It’s a keepsake of the place you live, painted with the same warmth and attention I bring to a portrait of a person.
This commission is currently only available to the Portland, OR Metro Area, because I take the reference photos myself. If you're outside that area and willing to cover travel expenses, please reach out. I’m happy to discuss it.
Timeline
After booking, we'll schedule a short visit to your property so I can photograph your home and yard in good light, and draw up some initial sketches. From there, I paint in my studio. House Portraits are larger and more detailed than a portrait sitting, so turnaround is typically 4–6 weeks from your property visit. The painting then takes about 2 weeks to dry before it's ready for pickup or delivery.
