Portrait Painting Commissions

If you're a local to the Portland, OR Metro Area, you can book a 2-hour portrait painting session at my studio.

What is it?

My in-person portraits are small head-and-shoulders paintings made in an energetic colorful style. I typically paint on 8x8 inch panels, but you can opt for larger sizes when making the booking. I use archival quality oil paints and materials.

Timeline

When making a booking, you will select an available time slot from my schedule. Each piece is started during an in-person painting session, and finished afterwards based on a photo of the sitting. The sessions are 1 hour for kids, and 2 hours for adults and couples. The painting takes about 1 week to dry, before it's ready for pickup.

Payment

A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to make the booking, which goes towards purchasing the materials for your painting. If for any reason you can't make it to the sitting, you can re-schedule at anytime. The remaining 80% of your payment is due at the time of your sitting.
Note: Weekend bookings cost extra because they require me to secure child-care.
